Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults (Atlantic, Ocean, and Cape May Counties)
Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient; Academic Division
Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a new academic GI division

• Recruit and mentor faculty and fellows

• Deliver clinical care in GI, including inpatient and outpatient services

• Expand advanced endoscopy and GI services

• Actively round and consult

• Collaborate with Drexel University and the new medical school

• Engage in strategic service line development and academic programming
  Required Procedures: Endoscopy (additional GI procedures likely based on scope of division)
  EMR System: Cerner Powerchart
  Support Staff: Multidisciplinary faculty and administrative team (to be recruited)
  Days Per Month: TBD
  On-Call/Weekends: Yes, both required

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology - Required

• Active or eligible New Jersey medical license - Required

• BLS and ACLS - Required

• DEA and CSR/CDS certifications - Required

• Documentation of malpractice history - Required

• COVID and Flu vaccination proof - Required
