We are looking for experienced technicians/mechanics who want to contribute to a positive shop culture and are committed to the highest quality automotive work product. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Technicians use their knowledge, experience & skills to diagnose and repair vehicles for our customers
- Perform a wide range of accurate automotive testing, diagnosis and repairs with best-in-class quality workmanship
- Continuously apply and build experience as an automotive technician across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Perform complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy digital vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns
- Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers
- 6+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Current ASE Certifications preferred; Master, L1 Preferred (or a plan to achieve)
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Strong experience with both domestic and import vehicles
- Have the drive and the ability to flag 40-50+ hours per week
- Knowledgeable with reflashing/reprogramming process, all vehicle systems
- Demonstrated diagnostic and service expertise in the areas of driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrain systems, and other mechanical systems, domestic and import
- Diesel Experience helpful
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Must possess a valid Alabama driver’s license
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
