Hospital Medicine physician; 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts; 7 on/7 off; Northern Virginia; locum contract; EMR: CPRS; paid travel & expenses. - Active, unrestricted state medical license - Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - Competent in paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, line/tube removal, I&D - Experience managing ~12-patient daily census - Ability to work 12-hour hospital shifts

Opportunity Details

Medicus is partnering with a medical center in northern Virginia that has a contract assignment for a Hospital Medicine physician to assist their team.

Assignment Details:

• Shifts: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
• Schedule: 7 on/7 off
• No call requirement
• Daily Census: 12 patients
• Duties: Admissions, consults, referrals, discharges, and procedures
• Required Procedures: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, line and tube removal, abscess incision and drainage, etc.
• Any active, unrestricted state license accepted
• EMR: CPRS
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
