Locum Physician - General Medicine in Houston, NV
Join a dedicated team providing vital support to our nation's Veterans through Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This opportunity allows you to work either at a VES facility or from your own office, offering flexibility to fit your schedule.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation of exam results, including any addendums required.
- Engage in administrative tasks related to exams, such as reading diagnostics and completing medical opinions.
- Available for both half-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) work as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Current AANP certification.
- Active and unrestricted medical license.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid medical license number.
- Certification number for related specialties.
- Confirmation of willingness to perform General Medicine duties.
- DMA certification status.
- Complete address of the office from which you will be practicing, if applicable.
