RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Start date ASAP with position available through 12/31
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of patient population served
• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards
• Demonstrate performance consistent with mission, philosophy and goals of the organization
• Communicate clearly and concisely appropriate to developmental age of patient
• Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking required
• Perform heavy physical effort to position, push and/or transfer patients or equipment
• Work in bloodborne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
• Required certifications: TNCC, BLS, ACLS (AHA)
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• EMR system: EPIC
• Must have current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient population served
• Varied working hours with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies
