We are seeking two experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners for a locum tenens assignment in Illinois, starting Feb 16, 2026. This three-month opportunity features five 24-hour call shifts every two weeks, each with 8 hours on-site for clinic and the remainder on off-site call. Providers will support Newborn Nursery and Special Care Nursery, working closely with a multidisciplinary perinatal team.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform comprehensive newborn assessments in nursery settings
- Attend deliveries and provide immediate neonatal care
- Manage respiratory and other acute needs for newborns
- Coordinate care with nursing and medical staff
- Work autonomously while maintaining collaboration with the broader perinatal team
Additional Information
- Active Illinois state license required
- Minimum 2 years of independent neonatal clinical experience
- Board certification required
- DEA and Illinois CSR required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
