Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Med/Surg days position requiring a current CA RN license and two years of recent LTAC experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Long Term Acute Care hospital setting on a chronic/med-surg unit
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient care focused in a chronic patient population
• Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
• Cannot be currently employed in a permanent position at any location with the health system while accepting a travel position
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Staff required to clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
• No Canadian SIN accepted; only US SSN
• Holiday coverage may be required as part of regular shift scheduling

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent LTAC experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
• No lapses in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide full US SSN for consideration
• No certifications may expire within 30 days of assignment start
