New York - Pediatrics This Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in upstate New York is hiring a Pediatrician. • There are 20 total providers in the group (including APP s) • There is well baby rounding for the clinic infants and this call is shared by several other clinic providers. The Pediatrician serves as backup to the APP on call so the APP fields the vast majority of the telephone calls for the after hours need. • Pediatricians do round on the nursery. There is opportunity to earn more money, paid by the local hospital for sick baby call but this is not required. • They typically see an average of 18-22 patients per day • They are hiring because they are building a new building and will be expanding service and also one of their providers may be locating back home. • The salary range is $220,000-$230,000 for four clinical days and one administrative day per week. • Benefits offered include: Health, Dental/Vision, Life Insurance, Accidental Insurance, PTO, 7 Holidays, Paid Family Leave, NYS DBL, 401k contribution upon BOD discretion, Annual merit increase based on performance and BOD discretion • Sign-on $75,000 with a payback for every month that 24 months are not completed • There are 4 weeks vacation plus 2 sick weeks plus 2 personal days • CME allowance is 40 hours per year • Their EMR is AthenaOne • There is student loan repayment available through the HRSA if the provider works a 36-hour patient contact schedule and loans aren t consolidated • They are able to sponsor J-1 visa holders or H1-B visa holders • In addition to Pediatrics, their programs include: • Family Practice • Women s Health • Perinatal Program • Occupational Health • School Health Pro
