Travel Nursing Job Details- Location: Pikeville, KY 41501 (Eastern Kentucky)
- Facility: Level II Trauma Center, 340-bed hospital
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 22, 2025
- Shift: 4x12 hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (except orientation/holidays)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100-$2250
- Weekend/Holiday: As needed for on-call rotation
- On-Call: 6-8 days per 6-week period
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing, Contract
- Active KY or compact Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS (all required upon submittal)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR charting system
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and resilience
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after cardiac procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent cardiac cases
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic electronic medical records
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and best practices in cardiac care
- Contribute to a positive, efficient, and supportive work environment
