Registered Nurse - Night Shift Med/Tele

Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleNights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with day/night rotation options. 36 and 48 hours available per week. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.
Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Tele environment with a total of 37 beds. Flexibility in scheduling is required based on the needs of the facility.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient care following established protocols and practices.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved guidelines.
- Document patient care activities in the electronic health record (EPIC).
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Assist in training new staff and students as necessary.
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
- Active NY RN license.
- Current NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
