Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a full-time, day-shift rehabilitation assignment on a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities
- Work in an inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Shifts are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend and holiday work per department needs
- Serve inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed patients
- No on-call requirements
- Scrubs required with no specific color mandated
- Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients across inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed units
- May care for COVID-positive patients
- No specific scrub color required
- Weekend and holiday coverage may be needed based on department requirements
- No on-call duties are expected for this role
- Open to local and travel candidates at the same rate
Requirements
- Current state Physical Therapy license required if applicable
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, or Certificate degree in Physical Therapy required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in a rehab setting
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
- DCI/BVP certification or completion through qualified resources such as Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or CDC
