Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Locums coverage beginning in October for most weekends. Expect 9-10 call days per month starting at noon on Friday until 7am Monday
- Job Setting: Hospital System - Community Health Systems, 8 beds in department, Trauma Level 4
- Types of Cases: 2-4 patient encounters per shift. Low risk pregnancy, high risk pregnancy (preferred), FHR interpretation, OB Ultrasounds (Level I/Screening required, Level II preferred), amniocentesis, routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for c-section), complicated delivery (c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, surgical gynecology (open preferred, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, operative/major)
- Credentialing: 30-45 days
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Certifications: BLS
- Licensure: TX license required (IMLC not accepted)
