American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP and MBSImP certifications for an acute care hospital serving diverse age groups.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care hospital setting with both inpatient and adult outpatient responsibilities
- Treats pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Average daily census is 8 with a 1:1 staffing ratio
- Performs special procedures including Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS)
- Shift is Monday through Friday with Friday hours from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and no weekends
- Uses Epic EMR; experience required
- Free parking is available for staff
- Responsibilities include bedside swallowing evaluations and Modified Barium Swallow Studies
- Interpretation services and multidisciplinary provider support are available
- Black scrubs are required as dress code
- First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
- Current CCC-SLP certification required
- Valid MBSImP certification
- Ohio SLP license required if applicable
- Experience in acute care and adult outpatient settings required
- Skill in bedside dysphagia management, conducting and interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies
- Familiarity with Epic EMR required
