Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least one year of experience and active Oklahoma licensure for an adult rehab services position.
Responsibilities
- Position is located in an adult rehab services department
- Day shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Work involves providing therapeutic physical therapy treatments under physician direction
- Patient evaluation, treatment plan development, and discharge planning are core responsibilities
- Responsible for evaluating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, and instructing patients in home programs
- Required to document treatment results and patient responses in medical records
- May supervise and assist clinical students depending on level of experience
- 50 mile radius rule applies; local candidates are not eligible
- Returning employees may extend once for a maximum of 26 weeks before a mandatory 6-month separation is required
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of recent physical therapy experience
- Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy required
- Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
- Knowledge and proficiency in using physical therapy equipment and computers
