Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Corpus Christi, Texas (4th Floor)
• Unit: Heart Telemetry (25 beds)
• Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Assignment Length: 13-week contract
• Shift: 7AM – 7PM (12-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1360-$1460
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical RN experience
• Experience with Meditech EMR – preferred
• Telemetry nursing experience – preferred

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the Heart Telemetry unit
• Manage chest tubes and non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
• Administer and monitor weight-based heparin drips
• Operate Baxter IV pumps, KCI wound vacs, and SCD pumps
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and unit coordinators
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment
