HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

**AK RN License is required for submission**Alaska Regional Hospital
Tell us about the unit(s):
· Number of Beds - 14
· Number of Staff – 8 RNs per shift
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 1 Charge RN plus7-8 Staff RNs
o Night Shift – same as days
· Patient Ratios – 2:1, 1:1
· Type of equipment – Alaris IV pumps,
· EMR - EPIC
Must have:
- 2 years experience
- Experience with EPIC
- AK license
- ACLS, BLS, NIH
- Independently manage intubated patients and titrate pressors
Preferred or nice to have:
· 1 yr of experience recovering open heart surgeries <12 hr. post op
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Intubation, art line insertion, chest tube insertion, central line insertion
Floating Area(s):
· Per union contract if unit is overstaffed travelers will float out to other departments first- MOU, CVSU, Ortho, Rehab or SPCU.
