We are actively seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) Gastroenterologist to join a private practice near LOUDON, TN. This is a permanent opportunity in a region that has evolved into the Technology/Manufacturing corridor, attracting new companies that continue to relocate in recent years. As the only hospital within a 30-mile radius, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the healthcare landscape of the area, fueled by a strong and rapidly growing population. The position is open to both newly-trained physicians and experienced practitioners, emphasizing our commitment to building a diverse and dynamic team. The potential for ownership in a local Surgery Center adds a unique entrepreneurial aspect to the practice, creating an opportunity for long-term professional growth. The practice benefits from a strong Primary Care base and the rapid population growth in the region, providing a solid foundation for quickly building the Gastroenterology practice. With four Endo Suites (2 at the Hospital & 2 at the Surgery Center), block time is available to facilitate efficient and effective patient care. The GI suite is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Call coverage is structured at 1:3 for clinic duties and 1:4 for ER calls, contributing to a balanced and manageable work schedule. While ERCP training is considered ideal, it is not a mandatory requirement for the position. This role encompasses both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, making it a traditional General Gastroenterology position.
