This position is for a board-certified or board-eligible Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Physician to join an established neonatology practice in Wichita, KS. The role involves providing intensive care to neonates in a Level-III NICU, participating in shifts and on-call duties, and engaging in quality improvement and research activities. The practice supports collaboration with residents and nurse practitioners and welcomes new fellowship graduates as well as visa candidates.

Job Responsibilities:- Full-time BC/BE Neonatologist position available.
- Join an 8-physician practice at Wesley Medical Center.
- Participate in a combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule; 1.0 FTE covers approximately 170 hours per month in-house.
- Provide in-house call and backup call from home.
- Work in a Level-III, 60-bed NICU with an average of 6,000 deliveries annually.
- Manage intensive and special care units with around 1,000 admissions per year and an average daily census of 54.
- Perform a wide range of neonatal services (excluding ECMO and heart surgery).
- Collaborate with residents and nurse practitioners to ensure best practices in patient care.
- Engage in extensive QI and research opportunities affiliated with KU School of Medicine Wichita.
- New Fellow graduates are welcomed if they are already BC in Pediatrics.
- Open to J1 & H1B visa candidates.
- Board Certified in Pediatrics (Required).
- Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (within 5 years of fellowship; Required).
- Kansas medical license (or willingness to obtain; Required).
- Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start; Required).
- Clean malpractice and license history (Highly Preferred).
- Visa support for J1 or H1B (Required).
- Must obtain DEA prior to start (Required).
- Board Certification in Pediatrics is required.
- Board Eligibility or Certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine is required.
- Kansas medical license (or ability to obtain) is required.
- DEA licensure must be acquired before starting.
