Setting: Hospital-Based OB/GYN Inpatient Care

• Labor & Delivery Coverage

• OB Triage & Emergency Management

• GYN Surgical Support (e.g., diagnostic laparoscopy)

• Teaching Role: OB Fellows & FM Residents

• Collaborative work with MFM and OB teams

• High-volume facilities: 6,000 & 1,800 annual deliveries

️ Key Responsibilities:

️ Manage high-risk labor & delivery
️ Assist in obstetric surgeries & urgent GYN cases
️ Respond to emergencies: ectopic pregnancy, torsion, etc.
️ Support emergency department for GYN consults
️ Perform EM procedures including diagnostic laparoscopy
️ Engage in academic education and mentorship

Compensation:

Base Pay : $350,000
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

Requirements:

Board Certified or Eligible in OB/GYN (within 5 years of residency)
Washington State License or willingness to obtain
OB Hospitalist ExperiencePreferred
Clean Malpractice & License HistoryHighly Preferred
Must Live Locally or Be Willing to RelocateRequired
