Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 17 bed cardiac critical care unit Unit staffing description-11 beds are 1:2 RN: patient ratio, 6 less acute beds are 1:3 Unit secretary and patient care techs available, pharmacist on the unit. Type of equipment: cardiac devices including TVPs, IABPs, Impellas (right and left ventricular assist devices), PA/Swan catheters. Other ICU equipment including ventilators and telemetry monitoring Documentation system: Soarian Scheduling requirements: 12hour shifts, 36 hours/week. Floating policy: to areas with competency - AMC has an internal float team that assists with staffing. Patient Experience requirements: 2 years of cardiac ICU Hospital Specifics- Certifications: Academic Medical Center, Level 1 trauma center (adult); Children’s Hospital within a hospital
