Registered Nurse - CVOR
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Days during the week will vary depending on unit needs - block schedule not available
• Call requirements mandatory for all travelers in cardiac surgery
• Must be able to scrub and circulate cardiac surgeries
• Minimum 2 years CVOR OR experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Handle diverse case types including neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid rooms, ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary
• Patient population includes open heart, transplant, and trauma/neuro diagnoses
• Adult patient population only - no pediatrics
• May float between OR units but not between locations
• Call rotation distributed fairly among all staff
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Interview process required with manager to offer
• Orientation dates: 1/26, 2/2, 2/9

This is a major academic medical center featuring over 1000 beds and operating as a Level 1 trauma center. The facility houses a comprehensive 56-bed operating room suite for both inpatient and outpatient procedures, plus 5 additional procedural rooms. The medical center offers advanced surgical capabilities including transplant services, robotic surgery, hybrid operating rooms, and specialized care across multiple subspecialties.
