This is a locum tenens physician position in Ohio focused on urgent care within a hospital-employed facility that operates seven days a week. The role involves providing family practice and urgent care services, managing patient flow, and utilizing diagnostic tools such as lab, x-ray, and pharmacy services. The contract includes comprehensive benefits such as PTO, CME allowances, retirement plans, malpractice insurance, bonuses, loan repayment, and moving expenses.
Hospital employed Urgent Care opportunity The facility consists of both Urgent Care and Family Practice and will be open 7 days/wk, 8am-8pm. Office Hours: 8:00a-8:00p (6 or 7) 12 hour shifts per two week pay period; Rotating weekends Lab, x-ray and pharmacy have same hours of operation as the UC services Family practice, CT, MRI and Ultrasound are by scheduled appointments 1 nurse per provider, 2 providers per day 30 patients per day IV pumps, slit lamp, basic instruments, AED, EKG2-year contract also includes: Vacation: 232 hours PTO. Additional 40 hours when producing 75%tile wRVUs CME/Books & Journals: 40 hours PTO and up to $5000 Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $23,500 year before taxes. No matching. Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $23,500 year before taxes under age 50 and $31,000 for over age 50. Matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay. Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $2,000,000, per claim/$6,000,000, aggregate Health Insurance: provider pays small premium, deducted from paycheck Bonus Incentives: excellent bonus incentives up to 10% of salary Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment) Sign on Bonus: 15% of base salary up to $100,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2-4 years) Residency Stipend: up to $25,000 (requires up to 2 year service commitment)
