Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel assignment in Texas requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Med/Surg unit of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Provide nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg unit
- First time travelers may apply
- References and license verification will be required
- Application packet must include complete employment and certification documentation
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- At least one year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required, with no expiration within 30 days of start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
