Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a NC or compact license for a travel assignment in an Emergency Department working 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an Emergency Department
• Typical shift is 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Must possess strong skills for managing acute and urgent patient situations in a fast-paced environment
• Teamwork and effective communication with multidisciplinary staff are essential
• Comprehensive documentation and charting in accordance with department standards is required

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience
• Current AHA or ARC certifications required, with no certifications expiring within 30 days of start
• CPI certification required for ER units; alternatives such as SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
