Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for a long-term locum tenens opportunity for one of the busiest and most established emergency departments in the Austin area.
This is a high-quality, physician-led program offering broad shift variety, cross-credentialing across multiple facilities, and the opportunity to build schedule longevity and flexibility within a large, well-supported health system.

Available Physician Shifts
- 4:30a – 2:00p
- 8:00a – 5:30p
- 10:00a – 8:00p
- 12:30p – 10:30p
- 3:30p – 1:00a
- 6:30p – 4:30a
- 9:30p – 6:30a
- No “days-only” availability — providers must cover a mix of shifts
- Annual Volume: ~80,000 visits
- Patients per Hour: ~2.5
- ED Beds: 36
- Hospital Beds: 250
- Trauma Designation: Level II
- Coverage Model: MD + APP
- Supervision: Physician supervision of APPs required
- Board Certification: ABEM or AOBEM (required)
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years Emergency Medicine
- Licensure: Active Texas medical license

- Training Background: EM-trained physicians only (FM/IM not accepted)
- Temporary Privileges: Not available
- Credentialing Timeline: ~90 days
- OPPE Required: Yes (Joint Commission requirement)
- OPPE must be requested directly by the physician from a current or prior facility
