- Day Shift – (1 charge,2 RN, 2 MHT, and 1-3 sitters)
- Night Shift - (1 charge,2 RN, 2 MHT, and 1-3 sitters)
- Patient Ratios – RN 1:8 shared nursing model
- Type of equipment – Glucometer, office equipment, O2, tube feeding
- EMR – Meditech
- Weekends/Call: Rotating Weekends. No Call.
- Typical Procedures:
- Deliver direct physical and psychosocial care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
- Provide holistic, individualized care appropriate to the age of the patient.
- Act as an advocate for patient safety and oversee compliance with core measures for applicable patients.
- Participate in development and implementation of plan of care.
- Communicate the elements of the nursing process to improve patient outcomes, provide quality intervention and promote collaboration within the health team.
Must Haves: - An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months of BHU RN experience in an acute hospital setting - ID RN License - BLS and CPI Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have: - 1 year chemical dependency/psychiatric experience or a strong desire to learn skills associated with this field. - MediTech Experience - Travel Experience
