Job Details:
• Provide care to both acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians, registered clinical nurses, registered radiology technologists, and cardiovascular technologists
• Position and immobilize patients on examining table following specified protocols
• Continuously assess patient hemodynamics and perform conscious sedation
• Mix and maintain IV/IC infusion and bolus medications
• Alert physicians to changes in patient responses and assist in interventional procedures
• Provide patient recovery to Phase I
• On-call responsibilities 1-2 nights per week as needed
• Work every 4th weekend
• 8-hour non-billable orientation required
• 2+ years current Cath Lab experience required
• 2+ years experience in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures required
• STEMI and STEMI call experience required
• Proficiency in interpreting EKG and hemodynamic pressure tracings required
• Conscious sedation and IV experience required
• Moderate sedation certification highly preferred
• EP experience highly preferred
• Must have reliable attendance with no call-out concerns
• Must own personal vehicle
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Current New York license required
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color with no designs or cartoons, no hoodies allowed
• Facility is transitioning to Epic system - Epic experience preferred

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Cardiac Catheterization Lab located on the 4th floor providing specialized cardiovascular care. The facility maintains 24/7 emergency coverage for cardiac procedures during off hours, weekends, and holidays. The organization emphasizes patient-oriented care and maintains high standards for staff reliability and clinical excellence. The facility is currently transitioning to Epic electronic medical records system to enhance patient care coordination.
