Respiratory Care Practitioner / Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Location: New York, NY 10038
Job Duration: 9 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: 3×12-Hour Night Shifts
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (includes a 60-minute break)
Hours per Week: 36
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ICU / PICU / Emergency Department (Required)
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends
- New York State Respiratory Therapist License (Required)
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program (A.A.S. or B.S.) (Required)
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical ventilation and ventilators (Required)
- BLS certification (Required)
- Basic computer application and documentation skills (Required)
Role Overview:
The Respiratory Care Practitioner will provide respiratory care services in critical care settings, supporting ICU, PICU, and ED patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts.
