Our job summary

The Urology Physician will provide inpatient and outpatient care, conducting medical histories, examinations, diagnostic tests, and both office-based and surgical urology procedures. The role requires board certification or eligibility, a medical license, and includes a schedule with 24-hour call and weekend duties. This is a 12-month locum assignment at a new facility in Ringgold, Georgia, supported by a dedicated recruitment and professional onboarding team.

Clinical Role:• Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!• Start Date: ASAP for a 12-month assignment• Schedule/Shift Times: 24-hour call, 1 in 5 weekends• Outpatient clinic schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm; Friday 8:00am-12:00pm (approximately 2 weekdays per week)• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

• Duties include:• Obtain medical histories as needed• Perform physical examinations within established protocols• Diagnose, treat, and monitor acute and chronic conditions in accordance with protocol guidelines• Order and interpret diagnostic testing• Prescribe or recommend medications and treatment plans within protocol guidelines• Respond appropriately to emergency situations• Promote healthy lifestyle habits through patient education and counseling• Attend meetings as requested• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Required Procedures:• Office-based procedures include cystoscopies, vasectomies, and BCG treatments• Surgical procedures include general urology cases such as prostate biopsies and prostatectomies, bladder surgeries, kidney surgeries, and related procedures

• EMR: Epic• Support Staff: 24/7 Advanced Practice Provider first call• Reason for Coverage: New facility opening

• Board Certified or Board Eligible - Required• Active Georgia medical license - Highly preferred; IMLC candidates will be considered• BLS (AHA) and DEA - Required
