Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care treatments and procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Manage ventilator support and monitor patient responses.
- Perform diagnostic tests and evaluate results to guide treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment use.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Iowa (or eligibility for licensure).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience in acute care.
- Strong knowledge of ventilator management and respiratory equipment.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Travel assignment with competitive compensation.
