This position is for a Board-eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician at a Level 1 trauma medical center in Santa Rosa, CA, offering comprehensive women's health services. Responsibilities include managing low and high-risk pregnancies, performing deliveries (including C-sections and complicated births), and conducting gynecological surgeries and office procedures. The role involves a patient-facing schedule of 3.5 days per week with additional OR time, hospital call duties, and requires a California medical license.

Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Permanent position with approximately 16 patient encounters per shift
• Schedule: 3.5 days patient-facing plus 1 day in the OR weekly
• Participate in hospital call 5 days per month
• Clinic hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
• Conduct OB ultrasounds - both Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted
• Handle routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps procedures
• Perform complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Manage VBAC deliveries and make critical decisions regarding C-sections
• Repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Provide comprehensive office/minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Perform nexplanon insertions and pessary fittings
• Conduct open and laparoscopic gynecological surgeries
• Perform operative/major procedures including management of ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Board certification eligible required
• California license required (assistance with application process available, 2-6 month timeframe)
• 60-day estimated credentialing timeframe
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
