The VA Omaha Medical Center is seeking two Board Certified physicians specializing in Cardiology, including Non-Interventional General Cardiology and Electrophysiology. These physicians will provide clinical care, participate in teaching medical students, and contribute to a tertiary care and research-focused medical center. The roles report to the Chief of Cardiology and support inpatient, outpatient, and specialized cardiology services in a comprehensive healthcare environment.
The VA Omaha Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska is actively recruiting to fill two Board Certified Staff physician positions, one in Non-Interventional General Cardiology with board certification (BE considered) and the other an Electrophysiology Cardiologist for our growing cardiology section. The candidates will have an opportunity to participate in clinical teaching of medical students. The selected candidates will report to the Chief of Cardiology, Dr. Janardhana Gorthi. The Omaha Division is an acute, highly affiliated, tertiary care facility. The Omaha facility provides inpatient, medical, surgical and psychiatric care in addition to its ambulatory care services; the Omaha Division is also home to major clinical research programs.
