- Unit: Cardiac Stepdown (7N), Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel RN contract
- Start Date: December 28, 2025
- End Date: March 29, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts (06:45 start)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2090
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Illinois RN license required; Iowa RN license preferred)
- Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Cardiac Stepdown, or acute care nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Stepdown/PCU unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and cardiac status
- Administer medications, cardiac treatments, and prescribed interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered healthcare environment
