This is a unique opportunity to balance your passion for patient care with strategic leadership. The role is structured for a 50% Clinical and 50% Administrative commitment, offering a rewarding blend of direct practice and executive oversight.
The OpportunityAs Director, you will be the chief strategist and operational leader for a robust and expanding program. You will:
- Lead a Large Team: Oversee a dedicated Hospitalist team of 48 Hospitalists and mentor 2 Associate Directors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Drive Strategy: Set and execute a strategic vision that enhances patient care, supports academic programs, and promotes research excellence.
- Operational Excellence: Have oversight of clinical operations, provider performance, educational programs, and the departmental budget.
- Influence the System: Act as a critical liaison between the hospital medicine department, administration, and other clinical departments to advance interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative care models.
- Ensure Quality: Lead departmental quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient safety.

Compensation:MGMA Median - Mean competitive compensation plan and benefits - Negotiable
