Unit L&D/PP/MB # of L&D Beds 12 # of OR Suites 1 # of triage beds 1 # of Postpartum beds 4 # of births per day, per year 80-100 per Year Do ratios follow AWHONN guidelines? Yes Required Certifications Basic Fetal Monitoring Common diagnoses/Types of patients Gestational Hypertension, Gestational Diabetes, PreEclampsia Experience or 'Must have' skills Basic Fetal Monitoring, Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines, Antepartum, Intrapartum, PostPartum Care Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips Oxytocin, Insulin, Epidural Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Yes Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? OB techs yes

- 1 year full-time RN, Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience within the last 2 years
