Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Assembler at a company in Manitowoc, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today!

Assembler Responsibilities:
- Monitor and follow safety preventive measures and practices
- Follow quality guidelines and checks including first piece, last piece and in-process inspections
- Conduct and evaluate destructive testing along with visual checks so necessary adjustments to the set-up can be made to produce a quality part
- Schedule and prioritize orders to meet customer demand and on-time delivery
- Use computer programs to assist in recording data, making labels, prioritizing orders, printing ship-sets, etc.
- Set-up and operate High Pressure Cell equipment
- Make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and machines when necessary
- Identify, analyze and evaluate machine and material problems
- Report necessary machine report problem to maintenance
- Provide training in safety precautions, quality requirements, preventative maintenance and production practices and procedures
- Assists department manager with continuous improvement efforts

Requirements for Assembler:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous industrial experience is a plus
- Able to lift up to 25lbs occasionally
- Able to bend and twist throughout shift
- Able to stand for duration of shift
- Able to withstand humid weather during summer months
- Able to read, write and communicate in English
- Able to use a variety measuring instruments
- Able to read drawings
