Med Surg ICU RN – 13 Week Contract
Location: Must live 50+ miles from facility (verified via driver’s license)
Schedule: 3×12 hr shifts (Days or Nights – 0630–1830 / 1830–0630)
Hours: 36 hrs/week | Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Active RN License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Experience: ICU or PCU; will train on specialty equipment
- Exam: Open-book skills exam during orientation (90% required to pass)
- No current employment (FT/PT/PRN) with any CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facility
Details:
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1–2 ICU, 1:4 PCU
- Floating to all inpatient units (except Maternity/NICU)
- Scrubs: Navy Blue
- Fingernail Policy: No artificial nails (termination if non-compliant)
- RTO: Max 7 days per contract, must be approved upfront
