Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Work 5 x 8 day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ARDMS OB/GYN, NT Nuchal Translucency certification (must have in hand at time of start)
• Will consider travelers without NT certification as long as they have experience conducting these scans
• Required skills: Nuchal Translucency Screen, Adult, High Risk OB, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Obstetrics
• Preferred skills: General Ultrasound skill, Amniocentesis, GE Anatomy scans
• Will accept first time travelers
• No float requirement
• Work with adult patients in high volume department
• Daily census of 10 patients with 5 rooms available
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Charting system: Cerner
• Up to 7 days RTO allowed per 13 week contract with no RTO during first two weeks
• Two supervisor references required
• DC license required at time of submission
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Average 12 hours of modules to complete pre-start and during orientation

This facility is a major teaching hospital and short-term acute care center recognized as one of the top 50 heart and vascular centers in the country. With 748 total staffed beds, the facility operates a high-volume Perinatal Center specializing in ultrasounds for OB patients, many of whom are high-risk with fetal abnormalities. The organization maintains advanced medical technology and comprehensive care services across multiple specialties.
