The role of Registered Nurse at Mercy Cancer Center involves facilitating communication within a multidisciplinary team to enhance individualized patient care. This part-time position requires at least three years of service experience with strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Candidates should have a high school diploma (associate's degree preferred), be proficient with common computer programs, and maintain professional behavior and communication standards.
A critical role of the Journey Guide will be to facilitate communication and implement communication tools with the entire multi-disciplinary cancer center team in a manner that best benefits the patient and their support system with the intent of individualizing each patient's experience. Hours/Schedule
Part-Time (24-hrs per week)
Shift: Days
Mon-Wed-Fri 7:30a-4:00p
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associate's Degree preferred.Required Experience: Experience in Health Care setting. Minimum of 3 years' experience in the service profession requiring daily interactions with the public/customer.
