RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work 3 days per week with every other weekend required
• Work on MS2 and MS3 units with 27 beds each
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Float between MS 2 and MS3 units as needed
• Must have basic Med/Surg experience and experience with post-op patients, especially orthopedic patients
• Work with Computer on Wheels, Pyxis, and Welch Allen vital sign machines
• Documentation system transitioning from Medhost to Meditech
• Perform blood transfusions, IV and central line maintenance
• Unit secretaries available during day shift and techs available on all shifts
• Required certification: BLS
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Dress code: Dark blue scrubs
