Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Provider opening for an Urgent Care PA Locum to work coverage in Fayetteville, West Virginia. Starting, as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The role of Urgent Care PA:
- Full-time. 10-15 shifts per month (minimum availability), up to 20 shifts per month (M-F).
- Schedule: shifts are 12 hours Mon-Sun, 8a-8p. No OT.
- Privileges available: Full and Temp.
- EMR: EPIC
- Typical Day: cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, sprains, minor burns, they may do splints.
- Urgent Care: anything high acuity will get referred to the local ER.
- Support Team: MAs and Radiology Techs
Requirements of the Urgent Care PA role:
- Taking Active WV License, IMLC (with active License), and DEA.
- CSR unrestricted.
- Board Certified
- Autonomous. No call. Adult 80% Peds 20%
- Experienced: 3 years minimum - from Urgent Care, Hospitalist, Family Practice
