Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Hospital Medicine team, providing clinical and administrative oversight
Guide inpatient care delivery and monitor performance metrics
Collaborate with hospital leadership to implement best practices and optimize workflows
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and institutional policies
Drive initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency of hospitalist services
Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members
Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and coordination of care
Qualifications
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineRequired
Active New York Medical License or willingness to obtain Required
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an acute care settingRequired
At least 2 years of hospital medicine leadership experienceHighly Preferred
Clean malpractice and license history Required
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Salary: $325,000 $350,000 (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
