Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Patient ratio: 1:4-5 in 16-room telemetry unit
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Epic charting system experience required, also use Pyxis and SBAR
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Floating required to other units
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period length
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin
• Care for patients with CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypo/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips management, chest tube care, central line management, wound care, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above)
