Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Sioux City, Iowa 51104
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/23/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts/week, every other weekend and holiday required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: Nursing Float (Med/Surg Telemetry)
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC EMR
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Ability to float within the same discipline across Sioux City healthcare campuses
• Submission of work history/resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and 1 supervisory reference
• Proof of taxable address more than 50 miles from Sioux City, IA (driver’s license, utility bill, lease/rental agreement, mortgage statement, insurance statement, voter registration, bank statement, auto insurance, or tax return)

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Float as needed within the Nursing Float unit and across local Sioux City campuses
• Accurately document patient information using EPIC EMR
• Provide patient and family education
• Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
