Job Description:
We are seeking a Paediatric Surgeon to join a well-established healthcare facility in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing surgical procedures on infants, children, and adolescents, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of paediatric surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and complex surgeries.
Diagnose and treat congenital and acquired conditions in paediatric patients.
Collaborate with paediatricians, neonatologists, anaesthesiologists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery, and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in hospital rounds, consultations, and emergency surgeries as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students or residents, if applicable.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification/Eligibility in Paediatric Surgery.
Valid and active North Carolina medical license or ability to obtain one.
Fellowship training in Paediatric Surgery.
Strong clinical and surgical skills with experience in minimally invasive procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle high-stress situations and make critical decisions quickly.
