Job Details:
• Minimum 1 year experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with average daily census of 48 patients in 49 rooms
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Renal Med Surg specialty focus
• Required certifications: BLS
• Epic charting system required (also uses Pyxis, SBAR)
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Every other weekend schedule
• Floating required to other units
• No call requirements
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Skills include blood product administration, central line blood draws, chest tubes, colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tube management, heparin administration, insulin management, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and phlebotomy
• Must be available to submit compliance items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
