Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a MD or Compact RN license, with three years of recent experience and night shift availability.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Patient ratios are 1:6
- Weekend shifts are required
- Floating required to other Med/Surg Tele floors only
- No on-call responsibilities
- Only one time-off request is permitted during the assignment
- Two references required for consideration
- Local candidates are accepted under the same terms as travelers
- No block scheduling is available
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required, 4 years preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Not open to first-time travelers
- Pending state license accepted
- Royal blue scrubs required
