Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week contract. The RN will provide safe, high-quality patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab with responsibilities that include circulating, pre- and post-procedure care, and assisting in interventional radiology procedures. Candidates must be flexible to float into the IR role as needed and work on-call within 30 minutes of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab, including monitoring and assisting during procedures.
- Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments and care.
- Circulate and assist in TEE, cardioversion, and interventional radiology procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow hospital protocols.
- Respond to on-call needs and provide flexible support to related units as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Maine.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2–3 years Cath Lab experience; IR experience required.
- Must live within 20–30 minutes of the hospital for call coverage.
- Proof of influenza vaccination required by the State of Maine.
