Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Newborn Nursery position requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Newborn Nursery unit
- Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Care for and monitor newborn infants in a nursery setting
- Provide support and education to new parents as part of routine duties
- Expect collaboration within an interdisciplinary team
- Required documentation must be complete and up to date prior to consideration
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in newborn nursery or related specialty required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required with valid expiration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
