Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a CO or compact license for a Med Surg/Emergency Department day shift position requiring spine/ortho post-op and Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a critical access hospital setting covering both Med Surg and Emergency Department units
• Adult and pediatric Med Surg, spine/ortho post-op, and emergency patient populations
• Patient ratio is 1 to 5
• Day shift schedule
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Holiday coverage is required with no holiday time off requests accepted
• Possibility of sharing a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment; rent will be paid
• No pets or smoking allowed in provided housing

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Colorado or compact RN license required
• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Experience with spine/ortho post-op and Med/Surg patient care required
• Travelers' permanent address must be at least 65 miles from the facility
• COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate
